Protein Shakes ingredients and information
Homemade protein shakes are simple, easy, fun and fairly cheap to make. Protein shakes come in two basic forms: shakes which are made with protein powder and others which are made with foods that are high in protein. Both types of shakes will increase your energy levels and help feed your muscles at the same time. Below are a few recipes for you to use:
Chocolate Lovers Protein Shake: Two scoops of BioTrust low carb chocolate protein powder, two tablespoons of Greek yoghurt, two teaspoons of instant coffee, ten ice cubes and half a cup of organic milk. Put all the ingredients in a blender. Mix on high until all ingredients are combined and enjoy.
Fruity Surprise: Two scoops of BioTrust low carb vanilla powder, eight ounces of water, one packet of organic Stevia powder, one diced apple, six large strawberries, half a cup of raspberries and five ice cubes. Place all ingredients in a blender. Blend on high for two minutes until smooth. Pour into a tall glass and enjoy.
Peanut Butter Shake: Two scoops of Biotrust low carb chocolate protein powder, two teaspoons of organic peanut butter, one cup of organic milk, half a cup of Greek yoghurt and six ice cubes. Place all ingredients in a blender. Pulse the mixture on high until it looks smooth and creamy. If it looks a little too thick add some water.
